Our initial meeting will have helped us to understand your requirements. ‘The Brief’ will include our proposal for the project, not only costings, but possibly some alternatives for consideration, an idea of methodology and perhaps samples of materials to be used.
It’s very important to take a little time at this stage for both parties to agree to the content of this working document. It underpins our discussions and puts down in black and white your goals and requirements, possibly saving a great deal of time and frustration later in the process. We understand that you may change your mind or have new ideas after the project is under way, that’s not a problem. However, from experience, a clear plan of work is liable to be good for both of us.
At this stage you have the opportunity to check that we have understood and accounted for all your requirements. Upon your approval we will then proceed with the project.
