Re-inventing the Shield

PPS has recently completed the re-branding of Peterborough IT support organisation Shield Technologies. The company was formerly known as PAS-IT, trading on that name for a decade.

 

The new name was introduced to better represent the company’s business activity, which is protecting the engine of most organisations – their IT systems.

 

Shield’s Managing Director Mark Swindale said: “Many of our competitors are one-man bands operating from their homes and whilst there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, we feel that having made the investment to develop our business, our position in the market should be reflected in our image. We have taken the brave step of employing PPS’s marketing expertise to guide us through the process, understanding that changing our brand name is just the first step towards increasing our profile and professionalism.”
